CMPT welcomes three new Technical Committee members.
Anu Rebbapragada D(ABMM) FCCM – CMPT Clinical bacteriology and Enteric parasitology technical committees
Anu is currently the Vice President of Diagnostic Services and the laboratory director at FH Health where she oversights ongoing technical performance, quality standards and ISO 15189 accreditation for molecular, virology and point of care testing at the central lab and network of clinics across Ontario.
She has extensive experience in Clinical Bacteriology, Enteric Parasitology, Virology, and Mycology and laboratory quality and accreditation.
Laura Stevens BA MLT– CMPT Clinical bacteriology technical committee
Laura has over 20 years of experience in the Microbiology laboratory. She currently works as the technical supervisor for the Microbiology laboratory at the Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife, NT.
She is committed to quality in the lab and has a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Tim Xue BSc. PhD
Tim is a consultant with the American Society for Microbiology – Global Public Health Programs where he provides expertise on funded projects for capacity building of clinical microbiology laboratories in resource-limited settings microbiology laboratories in resource-limited settings
He is also the Research & Innovation Manager (Health) at Genome British Columbia, Canada
