As the Human Pathogens and Toxins Act (HPTA) comes into full force, any laboratory working with Risk 2 or higher organisms, needs to apply for a HPTA licence.
This licence is also needed to receive, and to transfer these organisms from and to other laboratories.
CMPT requires to have each participant’s licence number before it can send any PT surveys.
