Covid-19 rapid antigen detection kits and CMPT PT samples
Early this year, CMPT in collaboration with BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) created a Covid-19 proficiency testing program geared to point of care (POC) testing sites.
As testing became widespread and rapid testing systems began to proliferate, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP), required these sites to be accredited.
Participating in a Covid-19 proficiency testing program is one of the requirements for this accreditation.
CMPT is hiring
CMPT is hiring a Research Assistant/Tech 2
Desired start date is August 2, 2021. This is a 3 months part-time (FTE 50%) appointment, with the possibility of extension and full-time.

Dr. Paul Levett joined CMPT in 2009. During all these years his contributions to the CMPT Clinical Bacteriology Committee have been invaluable and we are very grateful for all his hard work.
CMPT has benefited greatly from his years of participation, with his unique insight, enthusiasm, and invaluable support.
We wish Dr. Levett all the best and are very thankful for his support all these years.
