Research Technologist
Fion Yung graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, in 2009. In 2014 Fion obtained her certification as a medical laboratory technologist at the Michener Health Institute, Toronto, ON.
Fion is an active member of the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science. She worked at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Ontario as a Medical Laboratory Technologist before she moved to British Columbia in early 2015.
After joining CMPT in June 2015, Fion has rapidly proven her capacity for laboratory work and ability to take on higher responsibilities. She has become a solid technical aid in the laboratory and has quickly learned the intricacies of CMPT’s EQA programs.
