Liver Abscess Fluid: Saccharomyces cerevisiae  – Shipped April 2013

HISTORY

The sample was sent as a simulated liver abscess fluid sample. Laboratories were expected to isolate and iden-tify Saccharomyces species and perform sus-ceptibility testing to antifungal agents according to their protocols, or refer the sample for further testing.
