CAPD fluid: Staphylococcus epidermidis  – Shipped on February 10, 2020 FINAL  RESULTS

HISTORY

A simulated continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysate (CAPD) fluid sample collected from a 37 year old in-patient with chronic renal failure, fever and abdominal pain was sent to category A laboratories.
Participants were expected to isolate and identify Staphylococcus epidermidis and report appropriate antimicrobial susceptibilities
