Wound: Pasteurella multocida – Shipped May 2011

HISTORY

The challenge was sent to category A and B laboratories. The sample was a simulated cat bite wound swab from a 27 year old veterinarian assistant.

Participants were expected to isolate and identify Pasteurella multocida and report or comment on antimicrobial susceptibility.
